The Castlebridge House Conservatory is 'an exquisite piece of craftsmanship' and is an irreplaceable piece of Wexford's heritage that is on the verge of being lost forever. The cast-iron conservatory at Castlebridge House was built by the famous Pierce's of Pierce's Foundry. The County Council bought Castlebridge House in 1974 and it remains in their ownership. Since then the conservatory has been allowed to fall into serious decay. "I am calling on the council to immediately put in place a plan to preserve the conservatory in the first place and restore it to its original beauty as a tourist attraction."
